C. J. Mathew, son of P. A. Joseph and K. M. Aley was born in Monippally. He married to Emily from Kappadakunnel family in Uzhavoor. Emily passed away in 1968 in a car accident.
Mr. Mathew was survived with son Jomy and daughters Jolly, Sally and Beena. Mr. Mathew then married Annamma from Podukunnel family in Kidangoor.
